Unrivaled is seeking a dynamic and results-driven VP of Sponsorship Sales & Fulfillment. This senior-level role will support strategy and lead execution and management of sponsorship sales, ensuring strong revenue growth while delivering best-in-class fulfillment for league partners. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, this role will be instrumental in driving the League's commercial success and cultural impact through world-class brand partnerships. The position is primarily based in New York City, with seasonal travel to Miami during the league season as needed.
- Assist in developing a comprehensive, multi-year, multi-vertical sponsorship sales strategy to drive revenue growth.
- Identify, prospect, and secure new brand partnerships across various industries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate sponsors, agencies, and brand partners.
- Assist in negotiations for sponsorship agreements.
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to create compelling and differentiated partnership opportunities.
- Lead the execution and activation of all sponsorship agreements to ensure contract deliverables are met.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to integrate sponsor assets into league events, broadcasts, digital platforms, and community initiatives.
- Manage reporting and performance analysis for sponsorship campaigns, ensuring partners receive measurable ROI.
- Develop creative solutions to enhance sponsor engagement and maximize value for all stakeholders.
- Provide strategic insights to enhance Unrivaled's sponsorship portfolio and revenue potential.
- Serve as a key voice in sponsorship innovation, identifying trends and new opportunities within sports marketing.
- Build and mentor a high-performing sponsorship sales team as the league scales.
- Represent Unrivaled at industry events, conferences, and key networking opportunities.
- 6+ years of experience in sponsorship sales, business development, or partnership management within sports, entertainment, or media.
- Proven track record of closing high-value sponsorship deals and exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience managing sponsorship fulfillment and activation at a league, team, or brand level.
- Deep understanding of the sports sponsorship landscape, digital marketing, and brand partnerships.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a hands-on approach.
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to collaborate across teams and functions.
