MIAMI (July 8, 2026) – Unrivaled announced today the signing of Jessica Shepard, a WNBA All-Star (2026), NCAA Champion (2018), All-EuroLeague Second Team (2026), All-Greek A1 Player of the Year (2025) and Dallas Wings forward to a multi-year playing contract, with her debut set for the league’s upcoming third season. Her club will be determined at a later date. Shepard joins Kayla McBride, Kayla Thornton, Marine Johannès, Bridget Carleton, Flau’jae Johnson, Gabby Williams and Olivia Miles as Unrivaled’s latest signees.

“I am really excited to be joining Unrivaled for the coming seasons. I’ve heard nothing but great things since the league started,” said Shepard. “I’m looking forward to competing and playing with the best players in the world in a different setting, as well as developing my game.”

Shepard is averaging career highs of 14.6 points, 11.5 rebounds and 5.3 assists. She recorded her third triple-double of the WNBA season on July 7 to move to No. 2 all-time on the league’s triple-double list and is one of two players averaging a double-double this season. The Dallas Wings forward also recently earned her first WNBA All-Star starter selection in her sixth career season. Shepard recorded the first 22-point, 20-rebound and 10-assist triple-double in WNBA history on May 28 and is the only WNBA player with multiple triple-doubles this season. She was named the WNBA Western Conference Player of the Week for the first time in her career on June 2 and earned the honor again on June 23.

She was named to the 2026 All-EuroLeague Second Team in April, leading the league with 17.0 points and 9.5 rebounds per game and six double-doubles for Italian club Beretta Familia Schio. In 2025, Shepard completed a sweep of All-Greek A1 awards, earning Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, First Team and All-Defensive Team honors.

Shepard concluded her Notre Dame career with an NCAA Championship in 2018 and holds the program records for career rebounds per game (9.2) and most rebounds in a single season (390). Shepard averaged 16.2 points, 9.2 rebounds and 2.9 assists in her two seasons with the Fighting Irish, having transferred from Nebraska in 2017. She was selected No. 16 overall by the Minnesota Lynx in the 2019 WNBA Draft.
