Mist BC Breaks Club Single-Game Scoring Record in 95-70 Win Over Breeze BC

MIAMI (Feb. 23, 2026) — Mist BC broke the club single-game scoring record as all five players scored in double figures to defeat Breeze BC 95-70. The victory moves the Mist to 9-4 while the Breeze fall to 6-7. The Mist also became the first club to score 90 or more points in three consecutive games.
The Mist shot 53% from the field and 48% from three, led by Allisha Gray with 27 points. Breanna Stewart and Arike Ogunbowale added 24 and 20 points, respectively. The group is just the fourth trio to each score 20+ points in a single game.
Alanna Smith scored a career-high 14 off the bench, while Veronica Burton recorded a near triple-double, finishing with 10 points, eight rebounds, and nine assists.
“I think we were just super intentional about what we wanted to do,” Burton said. “The pace was really there for us from the beginning, and it helps when we’re making shots.”
Mist BC head coach Zach O’Brien pointed to the rebounding effort as the difference in the win.
“I think the stat that sticks out is that everyone had at least five rebounds,” O’Brien said. “We’re doing it together, and it’s showing all over the place.”
The Breeze were led by Cameron Brink, who scored a career-high 21 points to go along with four rebounds and two blocks off the bench. Paige Bueckers added 14 points and four rebounds.
Breeze BC head coach Noelle Quinn emphasized that while the Breeze have already clinched a playoff spot, she is challenging her club to elevate its focus heading into the postseason.
“It’s about the intangibles at this time of the year,” Quinn said. “Who’s going to come up with rebounds, who’s going to have multiple efforts—making the playoffs, we love that, but that’s not enough for this group.”
Gray and Stewart combined for 12 of the Mist’s first 15 points as the Mist built a 25-20 lead after the first quarter. Rickea Jackson and Dominique Malonga scored 13 of the Breeze’s first 20 points to keep it close early.
The Mist broke the game open in the second period with a 12-2 run and led by as many as 18. Gray and Stewart accounted for 19 of the club’s 26 points in the quarter, sending the Mist into halftime ahead 51-36.
A 17-6 run to begin the second half pushed the Mist’s margin past 20. Ogunbowale notched 10 points in the period as the Mist scored seven points off three Breeze turnovers to take a 28-point lead into the final frame.
The Breeze went on a 9-2 run in the fourth, but the Mist quickly regained control. Smith scored seven of her 14 points in the final period, and Ogunbowale secured the victory at the line with a free throw, her second consecutive game winner.
