MIAMI (Jan. 23, 2026) — Friday night’s Unrivaled slate concluded with a physical battle between Phantom BC and Vinyl BC as all five of Phantom BC’s players reached double figures to improve to 4-2 on the season.

“We have some high-level offensive players, scoring-wise and passing-wise,” Phantom head coach Roneeka Hodges said. “I thought everybody did a good job of taking the shots that were open and knocking them down, shooting with confidence.”

Aliyah Boston led the way for Phantom BC with a 21-point, 11-rebound double-double, her third through six games of play. Kiki Iriafen added 15 points and seven rebounds off the bench, helping the Phantom bench outscore the Vinyl’s 27-19.

“I love Kiki,” Boston said of Iriafen after the game. “I think she’s a hard worker, she’s very disciplined and focused on everything that coach asks her to do, and she’s honestly such a great teammate.”

Dearica Hamby and Rhyne Howard combined for 46 of the Vinyl’s 69, with 26 and 20 points, respectively. Hamby and Howard were the only two players to reach 20+ points on the Vinyl squad. Vinyl BC falls to 2-4 with the result, dropping their second consecutive game.

Hamby emphasized the opportunity of growth for the club with the timing of their two-game skid.

“You want to go through your adversity early on in the season,” Hamby said. “That way, when it comes time for the playoffs, you already know how to respond and how to push through that. Nobody’s hanging their heads — we’re just going to keep building off it.”

Despite trailing by double digits, the Vinyl chipped away at the Phantom lead with a 6-2 run behind five points from Howard. They entered the final stanza trailing seven points, but the Phantom put together a 10-8 run to maintain their lead and clinch the target score. Iriafen ended the night with a jumper to seal Phantom’s fourth win, marking her second game-winner of the season.
