MIAMI (Jan. 12, 2026) — Week two’s slate of Unrivaled basketball opened with a thrilling finish as Phantom BC fought back to knock off Mist BC, 64-61, moving to 2-1 on the season.

The Phantom forced the first Mist loss of the year as Kelsey Plum and Kiki Iriafen combined for 37 of the Phantom 64 points, turning around a double-digit deficit for a comeback win.

“The intensity, the energy, the intent…I think in the second half, we came back more focused and ready to push,” Phantom BC Head Coach Roneeka Hodges said about the team’s second-half turnaround.

The Mist were led by Breanna Stewart with 17 points. Alisha Gray, who scored an Unrivaled career-best 28 points on Saturday against the Laces, added 16 points and six assists on her birthday.

The Phantom trailed the entire first half before taking their first lead of the game midway through the third quarter. They opened the second half on a 14-4 run sparked by Plum, who recorded 14 points in the third alone. Iriafen and Tiffany Hayes drained back-to-back threes to hand the Phantom a 52-47 lead going into the fourth.

Phantom BC also dominated the glass throughout the night, outrebounding the Mist 44-28 while setting a new league club record for most rebounds in a single game.

Iriafen led all scorers with a season-high 19 points, 12 of which came in the second half. It was Iriafen’s second straight double-digit scoring performance of the year. Plum finished with 18 points and eight rebounds, including the game-winning basket.

Phantom BC’s Aliyah Boston highlighted Plum’s leadership and the joy of sharing the floor with her.

“Her patience, her poise, just the way she plays basketball. I love playing with a great point guard,” Boston said.
