Unrivaled and Xfinity Launch New Player-Fan Competition Ahead of League's Second Season and Games in Philadelphia

Xfinity adds to Player Prize Pool, with $50,000 going to Free Throw Winner
Fans can vote for a chance to win two courtside seats to Philly Is Unrivaled at Xfinity Mobile Arena
MIAMI (Dec. 11, 2025) – Unrivaled and Xfinity today announced the launch of the Free Throw Challenge Presented by Xfinity, a first-of-its-kind contest designed to engage both Unrivaled players and fans nationwide.
As part of the challenge, the Unrivaled player who records the highest free throw percentage across her club’s first five games of the season (Jan. 5–19) will earn a $50,000 prize courtesy of Xfinity. Players must appear in a minimum of three games and attempt a minimum of six free throws to qualify. On the fan side, participants will be able to test their basketball instincts by voting on which player they believe will finish with the highest free throw percentage during that stretch. Fans who correctly select the top performing player will have a chance to win two courtside seats to Philly is Unrivaled Presented by Xfinity at Xfinity Mobile Arena on Jan. 30, plus travel costs covered up to $1,000.
Fans can cast their vote beginning today through Jan. 5 on Unrivaled’s website. Voting closes as the first game of the 2026 season tips off. Fans will also be asked to predict the free throw percentage that their player will achieve and the total number of free throws their player will attempt as a tiebreaker.

Results will be tracked live on Unrivaled's Player Leaderboard. Both the winning player and the winning fan will be recognized in-game on Jan. 30 at Philly is Unrivaled during the first matchup of the night, Lunar Owls BC at Rose BC.
