MIAMI (Feb. 1, 2026) — Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Plum powered Phantom BC to a double-digit win over Lunar Owls BC, with each recording a double-double to move the Phantom to 5-4 on the season. Lunar Owls BC falls to 2-7 with the result.

“I think they play well together,” Phantom head coach Roneeka Hodges said of the duo. “It started in training camp—working together, being in the same shooting group, both being committed to each other, and being committed to helping each other get better.”

Combining for 36 points and 21 rebounds, Plum finished with 18 points and a career-high 10 rebounds, while Boston added 18 points and 11 rebounds for her fifth double-double of the season.

Hodges praised Boston’s impact on the floor.

“The word that comes to mind is versatile,” Hodges said. “She rebounds the ball, she can play in the pick and roll, her leadership is good, her work ethic is amazing, and she means everything to this team.”

The clubs traded baskets throughout the third quarter, with neither side leading by more than four points. A Dana Evans 3-pointer in the closing seconds of the period gave the Phantom a 48-47 advantage entering the fourth. Sunday marked Evans’ first appearance of the season for Phantom BC.

The Phantom opened the fourth quarter with a decisive 9-0 run, fueled entirely by Plum and Boston. Diggins later scored the Lunar Owls’ lone basket of the period. Boston sealed the win with her first game-winning basket of the season, finishing a layup off a Plum assist.

Lunar Owls BC was led by Diggins and Mabrey, who scored 18 points apiece. It marked Diggins’ fourth consecutive game scoring in double figures.

“[Diggins] is the definition of a true professional,” Lunar Owls head coach DJ Sackmann said. “To come back as quickly as she did from her injury is incredible. I’m super proud of her, and obviously she's had a huge impact on our team.”
