MIAMI (Jan. 18, 2026) — Kelsey Plum, Tiffany Hayes and Aliyah Boston powered Phantom BC to a 71-59 victory over Hive BC, moving the Phantom to 3-2 on the season. Hive BC falls to 1-4 with the result.

Boston came out firing in the first, recording eight points, a steal, and a block to help the Phantom take an early 22-17 lead. Hive BC’s Sonia Citron and Monique Billings contributed 11 of the club’s first 17 points.

The Phantom opened the second on an 11-2 run, during which Plum passed 100 career points on a reverse layup with 5:43 remaining in the period.

“Kelsey Plum is an elite worker,” Phantom head coach Roneeka Hodges said. “She’s a professional. She can score the ball in a multitude of ways — it’s a joy to coach her.”

In the third quarter, Hayes and Plum combined for 16 of Phantom’s 18 points, sparking the club’s offense. Billings produced five points to help power a 7-0 run late in the third that cut the lead down to 60-53 heading into the fourth, with the 71-point target score still up for grabs.

The Phantom closed the game with a late boost from Boston and Plum, who scored nine of the club’s final 11 points. Plum finished with a finger-roll layup for her second game-winner of the season.

Boston led all scorers with 22 points, six rebounds, and a career-high four blocks on the night. Plum added 20 points and six assists.

Phantom BC's defense was stellar from start to finish, forcing 11 Hive turnovers and creating 18 points off those miscues.

Hive BC's offense was anchored by Kelsey Mitchell, who posted 17 points and eight assists. Billings added 15 points and 10 rebounds, recording her third double-double of the season.

“[Billings] is our backbone, she’s our leader, she’s vocal, she does a lot of things for this team that people don’t see,” Hive head coach Rena Wakama said of Billings.

Up next: Phantom BC (3-2) faces Vinyl BC (2-3) on Friday, Jan. 23, at 8:45 p.m. ET. Hive BC (1-4) will try to get back in the win column against Laces BC (4-1) on Saturday, Jan. 24, at 8:45 p.m.
