Gray’s Career Night Powers Mist BC to 79-65 Win over Lunar Owls BC

MIAMI (Jan. 17, 2026) — 365 days ago, Lunar Owls BC and Mist BC faced off in Unrivaled’s first-ever game. 365 days later, the two clubs again went toe-to-toe, with Mist BC pulling away a 79-65 victory—their first-ever regular season win against the Lunar Owls in the all-time series between the two clubs.
Allisha Gray, who was an integral part of the Lunar Owls in their 2025 campaign, scored an Unrivaled career-high 30 points against her former club, 22 of which came in the second half.
“That’s [Gray] doing what she does. It’s so quiet sometimes — you look down, she’s got 30 points — and it’s just so within the flow and so efficient,” Mist head coach Zach O’Brien said.
Mist BC improves to 3-1 with the result as Lunar Owls BC falls to 0-4.
The Lunar Owls had their own offensive spark in Aaliyah Edwards, who finished the game with 22 points and seven rebounds. Averaging 24 points per game, Edwards has reached double figures in all four Unrivaled games this season. Lunar Owls head coach DJ Sackmann praised the forward’s start to the 2026 season.
“She’s been great all season, offensively, defensively, really been our anchor,” Sackmann said.
Mist BC came out firing early, starting the game on a 15-5 run, with Breanna Stewart and Gray combining for 13 of those points. Li Yueru provided a spark off the bench in the second quarter for the Mist, reaching a career-best 13 points, scoring nine in the period on 4-of-4 shooting. She capped her scoring run with a euro-step layup that had the Unrivaled crowd on its feet.
“That was so cool, I will push myself more and try to do more things on the court,” Yueru added.
The Lunar Owls caught fire in the third quarter, shooting 69% from the floor to the Mist’s 42%, but the Mist still carried a double-digit lead into the fourth. Mist BC clinched the win outscoring the Lunar Owls 12-7 in the final frame to reach the 79-point target score first.
Saturday also marked the return of guard Skylar Diggins for the Lunar Owls. Coming off the bench, Diggins scored her first basket of the 2026 season in the final minute of the first quarter on an and-one layup.
Diggins finished with five points in eight minutes in her return.
