MIAMI (Feb. 9, 2026) — Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Plum made league history, becoming the first teammates to score 30 or more points in the same game as Phantom BC defeated Vinyl BC 76-73 to clinch a playoff berth.

Boston finished with a career-high 33 points, 16 rebounds and four blocks, while Plum added 30 points—her second highest scoring outing of the season. Phantom BC becomes the second club to secure a postseason spot, joining Laces BC.

“I’m proud,” Phantom BC head coach Roneeka Hodges said. “We are playing some good ball right now—we’re peaking. The Ghost Gang is unbelievable.”

Despite Vinyl’s bench outscoring the Phantom’s reserves 24-11, the Boston-Plum tandem proved to be too much.

“I love [Plum],” Boston said. “I think she’s pushing me in a different way—we just continue to build that connection every single time we step out on that floor.”

Boston and Plum combined for 18 points of the Phantom’s 20 first-quarter points, giving the club a 20-17 lead after one.

The Vinyl answered with a 10-2 run in the second quarter to take a 29-24 advantage. Saniya Rivers made her Vinyl debut early in the period, recording a block and knocking down a 3-pointer in her first minute of action.

“It was good to see her out there playing alongside these young ladies and having fun,” Vinyl BC head coach Teresa Weatherspoon said.

The Vinyl carried a 47-41 lead into halftime, despite Boston pouring in 22 points in the first half. Rhyne Howard led the club with 15 points before the break.

Vinyl BC extended its lead to as many as 11 during the third quarter, but Phantom responded with a 10-0 run to pull within one. The Vinyl held a 65-61 advantage entering the final period.

The clubs traded 4-0 runs to open the fourth, and the Vinyl went ahead 69-65 with the target score of 76 in sight. Plum then took over, scoring the Phantom’s final 11 points, capped by the game-winning layup to clinch the win and the playoff berth.

“I’m having fun,” Boston said. That’s what I love the most. Every single time we step on that floor, we have fun—I’m enjoying every moment of it.”

Howard led the Vinyl with 22 points and seven rebounds, marking her fifth 20-point performance of the season.

The Phantom improve to 8-3 and extended its winning streak to four games. The Vinyl fall to 4-7, dropping their second consecutive game.
