Breeze BC Starting Trio Combines for 70 Points in 81-56 Victory over Rose BC

MIAMI (Feb. 1, 2026) — Breeze BC turned a tough loss in Philadelphia into a statement win two days later, rolling past Rose BC 81-56 for its largest victory this season. The Breeze improve to 5-4 on the season as the Rose fall to 4-5, dropping their second consecutive game.
“We are just young and turnt,” Breeze forward Rickea Jackson said. “[Noelle Quinn] said our youthfulness is our power, and I feel like today it showed.”
Paige Bueckers scored 11 of Breeze’s first 13 points of the night and tied Marina Mabrey and Kayla McBride as the second-fastest player in Unrivaled history to reach 200 career points, doing so in nine games. Her hot start fueled a 12-0 run that gave Breeze an 18-9 lead.
Shakira Austin answered for the Rose, scoring 10 straight points, but the Breeze maintained a double-digit lead for the rest of the half with all Breeze players scoring before halftime. Jackson capped the third quarter with a pull-up jumper to give Breeze a 60-41 lead heading into the fourth.
Malonga then scored six points in the final quarter as the Breeze cruised to the target score. Bueckers, Jackson, and Malonga combined for all 40 of Breeze’s second-half points and shot 72% over the final two quarters.
Bueckers recorded the second 30-point game of her career, finishing with 32 points and a career-high 11 assists. Jackson added 20 points and Malonga posted an 18-point, 11-rebound double-double.
Breeze head coach Noelle Quinn said she has enjoyed coaching the group.
“It’s been refreshing,” Quinn said. “They respect me, they’re bought in—it’s been a joy to be here.”
Austin led Rose with 21 points and 7 rebounds. Kahleah Copper followed with 15 points as Chelsea Gray added 11. The Breeze’s 81 points marked the most Rose BC has allowed this season.
“Our defense has to be better,” Rose head coach Nola Henry said. “We’re just not playing consistently enough at the level defensively that we need to play at in order to put ourselves in better positions and not allow teams to score 81 points.”
